A girls’ boarding High School located along Diani Beach Road, 800meters behind Chandarana Supermarket. This is the second high school in Mekaela Academies, center of excellence.
The idea of establishing another center of academic excellence had been in existence in the minds of our school directors as one of the major milestone in the growth of Mekaela Academies.
The dream was actualized on 10th May 2016, when the Girls’ wing was opened. The split was necessitated by the fact that parents have always wanted the girls to learn in a purely girls’ school and to also create a spirit of academic competition with our sister school Mekaela Lulu Boys’ High, as well as in the county and beyond.

The girls are determined to work hard, in order to transform their future, and are driven by the school motto that states: Learning to make a difference.
Our school offers creature comforts that make students to concentrate on learning without missing their homes. Our cozy dormitories allow students to have access to personal wardrobes, laundry facilities, spacious cubicles and study rooms in their halls of residence. The arrangement in these halls is breathtaking as all beds are neatly made, with a touch of African culture; Maasai shukas.
Serene Environment
Meal plan at Lulu Girls’ entitle students to a nutritious balanced diet. Our girls’ well-being is our top priority. Hence, each student is assigned a personal doctor through Mekaela Micro Medical Scheme which offers a medical cover to all students. we also keep the girls physically fit through various sporting activities, including aerobic lessons.
All students have an access to school tablets loaded with learning content that is prepared in accordance with the KICD syllabus for online learning. This is in line with government policy on digital learning. In our school, we boast of a very industrious teaching staff, fully dedicated and always ready to listen to each learner.
The school has well thought of programs that help girls to identify and grow their talents as well as providing them with exposure that broadens their thinking. Through Out of the Box; an exchange program, our girls get an opportunity to travel to Germany and discuss emerging issues like climate and environmental changes among others.

In 2023, our school was restructured to accommodate the boys from the former Lulu boys’ High school. This was necessitated by the need to establish a standalone Junior secondary school, to cater for the CBC education system. Due to this, we did not have form one in takes we were renovating the institution to suit the needs of a mixed gender school.
As a mixed school, we are organized in such a way that learning and morality of our learners is not compromised. We have two spacious dormitories that house the boys and girls separately.
